Opal's bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- warm water - 1/2 c
- bread flour - 6 6
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- whole eggs - 2 item
- warm milk
- Crisco, melted - 1/2 c
How to make opal's bread:
Put yeast in warm water. Do not stir; set aside and let rise or work. Mix eggs, salt, sugar, Crisco, warm milk and bread flour. Add yeast mixture and let rise in bowl. Knead and poke down and knead again. Form into 3 loaves. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.Recipe categories: Breads.
