Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- large onion - 1 item
How to make onion rings:
Peel onion. Cut into 1/4-inch slices and separate into rings. Combine dry ingredients. Stir well. Add egg, milk and 1 teaspoon oil. Beat until smooth. Dip onion ring into batter. Fry in deep hot oil at 375° until done. Yields 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Onions.
