Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- medium onions, sliced - 4 item
- saltine crackers, crushed - 12 item
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c
How to make onion casserole:
Saute onion in margarine. Place crackers in bottom of baking dish. Mix soup, milk and eggs together. Add salt and pepper; pour over onions. Cover with cheese and bake. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Side dish, Casseroles.
