Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • margarine - 1/2 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • medium onions, sliced - 4 item
  • saltine crackers, crushed - 12 item
  • sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 1 c

How to make onion casserole:

Saute onion in margarine. Place crackers in bottom of baking dish. Mix soup, milk and eggs together. Add salt and pepper; pour over onions. Cover with cheese and bake. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
