Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
- medium onions, sliced - 4 item
- saltines, crushed - 12 item
- grated cheese sharp Cheddar - 1 item
How to make onion casserole:
Saute onions in butter until tender. Line casserole dish with saltines. Mix together soup, milk and eggs. Pour onions and butter over saltines, then cover with soup mixture. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Side dish, Casseroles.
