Old fashioned tea cakes
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- butter or Crisco - 1 c
- sweet milk - 1/2 c
How to make old fashioned tea cakes:
Work in just enough flour to roll out dough. Roll thin; cut with 2-inch cutter. Bake at 350° about 10 minutes. Do not overbrown. Makes about 5 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
