Old fashioned cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 Tbsp
• flour - 5 c
• buttermilk - 1 c
• baking powder
• baking soda - 2 tsp
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c

How to make old fashioned cookies:

Cream sugar, shortening and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. Roll out about 1/4 inch thick. Cut out with cookie cutters. Bake at 350° about 10 minutes.
