- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 3/4 c
- brown sugar - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- uncooked oats - 3 c
- butterscotch chips - 1 (12
How to make oatmeal scotchies:
Preheat oven to 375°. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Add flour mixture. Stir in oats and butterscotch chips. Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookies, 9 to 10 minutes for crisp cookies. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
