Oatmeal raisin cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- packed brown sugar
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- chopped nuts optional - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- oats
- sticks margarine, softened - 2 item
How to make oatmeal raisin cookies:
Preheat oven to 375°. Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well. Add flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix well. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy or 12 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies in 375° oven.
