Oatmeal pudding cookies



  • unsifted all-purpose flour
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • butter or margarine, softened - 1 c
  • granulated sugar - 1/4 c
  • firmly packed light brown sugar - 3/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • 4-serving size Jell-O brand vanilla flavor instant pudding and pie filling - 1 pkg
  • quick-cooking rolled oats
  • raisins optional - 1 c

How to make oatmeal pudding cookies:

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars and pudding mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in oats and raisins. Batter will be stiff. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
