Oatmeal pancakes
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- quick-cooking oats - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil may use less - 2 Tbsp
How to make oatmeal pancakes:
Beat all ingredients with a hand beater until smooth. (For thinner pancakes, stir in 2 to 4 tablespoons of additional milk.)For each pancake, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto a greased hot griddle. Cook until done. Serve with applesauce, bananas or preserves, if desired. Makes 10 to 12 pancakes.
Recipe may be easily doubled, if desired.
