Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- sifted all-purpose flour - 1 c
- quick-cooking oats - 1 c
- Crisco oil - 3 tsp
How to make oatmeal muffins:
Sift flour with sugar, baking powder and salt. Add oats. Pour in egg, milk and oil; stir just enough to moisten. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Yield: 12 muffins.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
