Oatmeal flatbread
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- buttermilk
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
- melted butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- uncooked oatmeal - 2 c
How to make oatmeal flatbread:
Mix all ingredients and chill overnight. Divide dough into egg-sized balls and roll into very, very thin sheets on a flour-covered pastry cloth. Transfer to cookie sheets and bake at 325° to 350° until light tan. It does not need to be turned over. Store in closed container to keep dry.
