Oatmeal crispies
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 c
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- margarine, softened - 1/2 c
- raisins optional - 1 c
- quick cooking oats - 3 c
How to make oatmeal crispies:
Heat oven to 375°. Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoons about 2-inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 6 dozen.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
