salt - 2 tsp
flour - 4 c
brown sugar - 2 c
butter - 1 c
soda - 2 tsp
baking powder - 1 tsp
oatmeal - 4 c
box raisins - 1 item
sour milk - 1 c
nut meats - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Mix butter and oatmeal until melted on stove. Set aside to cool. Add milk, eggs and raisins. Combine dry ingredients. Add to oatmeal, butter, egg and milk; mix. Fold in nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8 to 12 minutes until lightly browned.
