cinnamon - 1 tsp
vanilla - 1 tsp
pkg - 6 oz
salt - 1/2 tsp
nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
cup brown sugar - 1 item
cup flour - 1 item
cup water - 1/4 item
cup chopped nuts - 1/2 item
cup raisins - 1 item
cup white sugar - 1/2 item
cup soft shortening - 3/4 item
cups old fashioned oats, not 1 minute, uncooked - 3 item

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Place shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla in mixing bowl; beat thoroughly. Sift together flour, salt and soda; add to shortening mixture, mixing well. Blend in oats, Drop by tsp. onto greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350° oven 12-15 minutes.
