Ingredients/Components

  • white sugar - 1 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • all-purpose flour
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • quick oats - 3 c
  • nuts - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Cream sugars, Crisco, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, soda, salt and spices. Mix well into creamed mixture. Fold in oats and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
