  • Crisco - 1/2 c
  • margarine - 1/2 c
  • oatmeal - 2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • raisins - 2 c
  • water - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Cook raisins in water; let cool. Cream the sugar and shortening. Add rest of ingredients. Drop from spoon; bake in moderate oven (soft cookie).
