eggs - 2 item
cup brown sugar - 1 item
tsp salt - 1/2 item
cup butter - 1 item
cup nuts - 1/2 item
tsp vanilla - 1 item
cup white sugar - 1 item
tsp soda - 1 item
1/2 cup flour - 1 item
cups quick oats - 3 item

How to make oatmeal cookies:

Sift together first 3 ingredients. Add: 3 cups quick oats, 1/2 cup nuts.

Cream together: 1 cup butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar (can use shortening such as Crisco).

Add: 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Roll in rolls and chill in refrigerator. Cut and bake at 350° about 8-10 minutes. Check time!
