Oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/4 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- sq - 2 oz
- old-fashioned rolled oats - 1 c
- room temperature butter - 6 oz
How to make oatmeal chocolate chunk cookies:
Heat the oven to 350°. Cut the chocolate into approximately 1/4-inch chunks. Combine the flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Beat together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Beat in the egg. Stir in the flour mixture. Add the oats, nuts and chocolate. Drop the dough by level teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until the edges brown, 6 to 8 minutes.
