• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• bag chocolate chips - 1 (6
• white sugar - 1 c
• oats - 3 c

How to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies:

Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift together flour, salt and soda; add to creamed mixture. Mix in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
