Oatmeal chippers
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- semi-sweet chocolate chips - 1 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/2 c
- quick-cooking oats - 1 c
- chopped nuts if desired - 1/2 c
- butter or more margarine - 1/4 c
How to make oatmeal chippers:
Combine ingredients in mixing bowl. Blend at low speed about 1 minute. Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and starting to pull away from edges of the pan.Note: This recipe blends together better if margarine or butter is already soft. Also, not necessary but recommend adding chips or nuts last after blending other ingredients a little. This is probably the easiest chocolate chip cookie to make on the face of the earth.
