Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • boiling water
  • pecans - 1 c
  • oatmeal - 1 c
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • Add oatmeal and margarine

How to make oatmeal cake:

Boil water; remove from heat. Add oatmeal and margarine. Mix other ingredients; add to oatmeal mixture. Bake in an oblong pan at 350° for 30 minutes.Icing:7 Tbsp. evaporated milk1/2 c. sugar1 stick margarine1 c. coconut1 c. pecans Bring first 3 ingredients to a boil; boil for 1 minute. Add coconut and pecans to mixture. Put on cake, hot.
