Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- nuts - 1 c
- oleo
- oatmeal - 1 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- canned milk - 1/4 c
How to make oatmeal cake:
Filling:6 Tbsp. oleo1 c. coconut1/2 c. brown sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. canned milk1 c. nuts Pour boiling water over oatmeal and oleo. Let stand 20 minutes. Add brown sugar, eggs, white sugar, flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well and bake in loaf pan for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.Filling: Cook until bubbly, then mix well and spread on cake. Put in oven until brown.
