- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- soda - 2 tsp
- boiling water
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- white sugar - 2 c
- quick oats - 2 c
- canned milk - 1 c
- cubes margarine - 2 item
- Topping:2 cubes margarine
How to make oatmeal cake:
Topping:2 cubes margarine1 c. canned milk1 c. sugar1 egg1 tsp. vanilla Mix boiling water, quick oats and margarine in a saucepan; cover and let stand for 20 minutes. Mix remaining ingredients in another bowl. Add oatmeal mixture and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.Topping: Cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add 2 cups nuts and 2 cups coconut. Spread over cake and broil until brown.
