  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • coconut - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • boiling water
  • white sugar - 1 c
  • quick oats - 1 c
  • butter or oleo - 4 Tbsp
  • stick oleo - 1 item
  • Cream together sugars and eggs and add to oat mixture, then add flour, salt, cinnamon, soda and vanilla

How to make oatmeal cake:

Combine oats and oleo in boiling water and let stand 20 minutes. Cream together sugars and eggs and add to oat mixture, then add flour, salt, cinnamon, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes.Topping:1/2 c. cream
