Oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• evaporated milk - 4 tsp
• egg yolks - 2 item
• coconut - 1 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• nuts - 1 c
• quick oats - 1 c
• Let stand 20 minutes

How to make oatmeal cake:

Cover oats with water. Let stand 20 minutes. Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar together, then add eggs and remaining ingredients. Bake until done at 350°. Ice while still warm.Icing:3 Tbsp. butter3/4 c. brown sugar1 c. coconut1 c. nuts2 egg yolks4 tsp. evaporated milk Mix together.
