- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- white sugar - 1 c
- quick oats - 1 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- canned milk - 1/2 c
- Add sugars, eggs, flour, soda, cinnamon, vanilla and salt
How to make oatmeal cake:
Pour boiling water over oats; stir in oleo. Add sugars, eggs, flour, soda, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Bake for 30 minutes at 350° in a 9 x 9-inch pan.Icing:1 c. brown sugar4 Tbsp. butter1 c. coconut1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. canned milk Stir and spread on cake.
