- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3 4
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- pecans - 1 c
- oats - 1 c
- Cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs
How to make oatmeal cake:
Mix boiling water and oats together; let stand 20 minutes. Cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs. Add in the oat mixture. Mix flour, cinnamon, soda and salt together; gradually add to mixture. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.Topping:3 Tbsp. butter2/3 c. brown sugar1 c. coconut1 c. pecans3 to 4 Tbsp. milk2 egg yolks Mix all ingredients together; put on hot cake.
