Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- water
- stick butter - 1 item
- sifted flour
- soft butter - 4 Tbsp
- oatmeal - 1 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- can shredded coconut - 1 item
How to make oatmeal cake:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1 can shredded coconut4 Tbsp. soft butter1/2 c. evaporated milk Stir 1 cup oatmeal into 1 1/4 cups boiling water and let stand for 20 minutes. Mix together the butter and white and brown sugars. Add oatmeal, 2 beaten eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and flour.Topping: Mix all together and spread on cake. Bake until golden brown.
