Oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/4 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• oatmeal - 1 c
• white sugar - 1 c

How to make oatmeal cake:

Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Let set. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, salt and vanilla. Mix flour, cinnamon and soda together. Add alternately with oatmeal mixture. Pour into 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes. Cool and frost.
