Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- boiling water
- quick oats - 1 c
- walnuts - 1/2 c
- Pet milk - 1/4 c
- Let stand 2 minutes
How to make oatmeal cake:
Pour boiling water over oats. Let stand 2 minutes. Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs, oatmeal, flour and spices. Bake at 350° in a 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes.Frosting:1 stick margarine1/4 c. Pet milk1 c. brown sugar1 c. coconut1/2 c. walnuts Bring to a boil.
