Oatmeal cake

Ingredients/Components

• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• brown sugar - 1 c
• butter - 1/2 c
• coconut - 1 c
• soda - 1 tsp
• boiling water
• oatmeal - 1 c
• white sugar - 1 c
• canned milk - 1/2 c
• pecan pieces - 1/2 c
• Icing:1 stick butter

How to make oatmeal cake:

Icing:1 stick butter1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. canned milk1 tsp. vanilla1 c. coconut1/2 c. pecan pieces Pour boiling water over the oatmeal; let stand 20 minutes. Cream the butter and sugars. Add eggs, flour, cinnamon, soda, salt and vanilla. Add oatmeal. Bake 30 minutes at 350°.

Icing: Boil the butter, sugar, milk and vanilla a few minutes. Add coconut and pecan pieces. Ice while cake is hot.
