cinnamon - 1 tsp
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour
brown sugar - 1 c
coconut - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
eggs, beaten - 2 item
melted butter - 4 Tbsp
boiling water
stick butter - 1 item
cream - 1/2 c
white sugar - 1 c
quick oats - 1 c
Let stand 20 minutes

How to make oatmeal cake:

Pour boiling water over oats. Let stand 20 minutes. Place butter in bowl and add sugars and eggs, vanilla and oats. Add dry ingredients. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. While still warm, add topping and return to broiler and toast topping.Topping:1 c. brown sugar4 Tbsp. melted butter1 c. coconut1/2 c. cream
