Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- melted butter - 4 Tbsp
- boiling water
- stick butter - 1 item
- cream - 1/2 c
- white sugar - 1 c
- quick oats - 1 c
- Let stand 20 minutes
How to make oatmeal cake:
Pour boiling water over oats. Let stand 20 minutes. Place butter in bowl and add sugars and eggs, vanilla and oats. Add dry ingredients. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
