  • sugar - 4 Tbsp
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • sour cream - 1 pt
  • butter or margarine - 1 lb
  • salt
  • flour - 8 c
  • egg yolks - 8 item
  • baking soda
  • hot water - 1/2 c
  • butter, melted - 3/4 lb
  • walnuts
  • large cake yeast - 1 item

How to make nut roll:

Filling:2 lb. walnuts3 c. sugar2 tsp. cinnamon3/4 lb. butter, melted1/2 c. milk Mix well first 4 ingredients. Add butter; mix well. Mix yolks and sour cream. Add. Mix yeast and hot water; add. Knead dough with hands. Divide into 2 balls, wrap in Saran Wrap and refrigerate overnight. Then cut into 4 sections (8 total). Roll out, add filling, roll and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Filling: In food processor, mix well the walnuts, sugar and cinnamon. Add melted butter and milk; mix well.
