Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- flour - 6 c
- butter - 1 lb
- evaporated milk - 3/4 c
- egg yolks - 2 item
- egg whites - 2 item
- warm water - 1/2 c
- ground walnuts
- large cake yeast - 1 item
How to make nut horns:
Filling:2 lb. ground walnuts2 egg whites2 c. sugar Dissolve yeast in water. Mix flour, butter and eggs. Add yeast mixture and milk; knead. Refrigerate at least 6 hours. Roll out dough on sugared board using 1 cup powdered sugar to 3/4 cup white sugar. Cut into triangles (2 1/2-inch sides). Put filling along one edge and roll (like crescent rolls).
