Norwegian gold cake
Ingredients/Components
- soft butter - 1 c
- sifted flour
- sugar
- baking powder
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 5 item
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- Nesselrode Raffetto brand - 2 Tbsp
How to make norwegian gold cake:
Mix butter and flour in bowl 5 minutes on high speed. On low speed, add eggs, one at a time, blending each in turn slowly. Sift sugar, baking powder and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture. Add extract and Nesselrode. Mix 2 minutes.Turn into buttered 10-inch tube pan which has been dusted with fine bread crumbs. Bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes. Invert. Sprinkle with sifted confectioners sugar.
