  • sugar - 1 c
  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 4 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • diced apples - 3 c

How to make nobby apple cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg. Sift together flour, salt, soda, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan which has been greased and floured. Bake at 375° for 40 minutes. Cool. Serve with whipped cream.
