No-fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- shortening
How to make no-fail pie crust:
Blend shortening and dry ingredients. Beat other ingredients and add to dry, blending with a fork until moistened. Mold dough into 4 or 5 balls. Chill well (a must!) as dough is very soft. Dough keeps in refrigerator 3 days or may be frozen.Comments: Easy to roll; very flaky.
