Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- water - 1 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- shortening - 2 c
- beaten egg - 1 item
How to make never fail pie crust:
Mix flour, shortening and salt with pastry blender. Beat egg in cup and add cold water to 1 cup. Add vinegar and baking powder. Stir. Add to flour mixture. Stir lightly with fork. Chill. Roll. Will make 4 (2 crust) pies. This is a nice flaky pie crust and freezes well in pies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
