  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • water - 1 item
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • vinegar - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 2 c
  • beaten egg - 1 item

How to make never fail pie crust:

Mix flour, shortening and salt with pastry blender. Beat egg in cup and add cold water to 1 cup. Add vinegar and baking powder. Stir. Add to flour mixture. Stir lightly with fork. Chill. Roll. Will make 4 (2 crust) pies. This is a nice flaky pie crust and freezes well in pies.
