Never fail pie crust
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- cold water
- vinegar - 1/2 Tbsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- small egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
How to make never fail pie crust:
Blend flour, salt and shortening. Mix water, vinegar and egg; add to flour mixture. Mix well. Shape into two balls. Chill 15 minutes or may refrigerate up to 3 days. Roll out immediately or freeze until later use. Makes two crust pie.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
