Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 6 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1/3 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg whites - 3 item
How to make never fail meringue:
Combine water, sugar and cornstarch; cook and stir until thick and clear. Cool slightly; add vanilla. In a large bowl beat egg whites and salt until droopy peaks form. Continue beating as you slowly pour in the water and sugar mixture. Beat until peaks stand up straight.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
