How to make mystery pecan pie:
Cream together the cream cheese, 1 egg, vanilla, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 1/4 cups pecans. Beat until fluffy. Spread in pie shell.Next beat the 3 eggs until well blended but not foamy. Do not overbeat. Add corn syrup, sugar, vanilla and salt. Mix well. Pour over pecans. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until nuts are brown. Top will rise like a souffle and sink as it cools.
