Ingredients/Components

• sugar
• eggs - 5 item
• vanilla - 2 tsp
• flour - 2 c
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• shortening - 1 c

How to make my favorite cake:

Beat sugar, shortening and eggs together; add flour, salt and vanilla. Grease and flour tube pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325° to 350°. Best eaten while warm.
