Mushroom souffle
Ingredients/Components
- milk
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms - 1 lb
- celery - 1/2 c
- green pepper - 1/2 c
- Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- onions - 1/2 c
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- slices buttered bread, cubed - 10 item
- salt, pepper, parsley, garlic - 1 item
How to make mushroom souffle:
In the melted butter, saute mushrooms, onions, celery, green peppers, parsley and garlic. Salt and pepper to taste. Put half the bread in bottom of pan (separate pan). Add mayonnaise to sauteed mixture. Pour mixture over bread in pan. Add the remaining bread. Mix eggs, milk and soup together and pour over bread. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
