Mushroom rolls
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- light cream - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- m - 1/4 tsp
- minced chives - 2 tsp
- mushrooms, chopped finely - 1/2 lb
How to make mushroom rolls:
Saute mushrooms in butter until soft. Blend in flour, salt and m.s.g. Stir in cream. Cook until thick. Add chives and lemon juice. Cool.Remove crust from family size loaf of white bread. Roll thin with a rolling pin. Spread mushroom mixture. Roll up. Cut in half and freeze or use immediately. Toast in a 400° oven on all sides. Serve. Makes approximately 6 dozen.
