Mushroom pate
Ingredients/Components
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- dash of hot sauce - 1 item
- seasoned pepper - 1 tsp
- mushrooms, chopped - 1 lb
How to make mushroom pate:
Saute mushrooms in margarine in skillet over medium heat until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Put all ingredients in food processor and mix until smooth. Spoon mixture into greased 7 1/2 x 3 x 3-inch loaf pan. Chill. Unmold. Serve with Melba toast or baguette slices.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Mushroom, Spreads.
