Mushroom business
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/4 Tbsp
- chopped celery - 3/4 c
- chopped onions - 3/4 c
- slices bread - 6 item
- fresh mushrooms
- grated Swiss cheese - 1 item
- chopped bell pepper - 3/4 c
- cans cream of mushroom soup - 2 item
How to make mushroom business:
Saute mushrooms in butter; drain. Saute onions, celery and bell pepper. Grease an 11 x 13-inch pan. Toast bread and paint with melted butter; cut into squares. Put in pan and put mushroom mixture, mashed up celery, bell pepper and onion on top of bread. Add salt and pepper; add another layer of bread. Beat eggs and milk; pour over casserole. Let stand overnight in refrigerator. Cover with mushroom soup, layer of bread and Swiss cheese. Bake at 300° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Mushroom.
