Mud pie



  • butter - 1 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • flour
  • coconut
  • chopped walnuts
  • jar marshmallow cream - 7 oz
  • powdered sugar
  • canned milk - 1/2 c

How to make mud pie:

Frosting:1 lb. powdered sugar1 c. butter1/2 c. canned milk1/2 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter, sugar, cocoa, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour, cocoa and walnuts, 1/2 cup at a time. Mix well. Beat for 2 minutes. Pour into greased 15 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Take from oven and while it is hot spread marshmallow cream on it. Let cake get very cold, then spread it with the frosting.

Frosting: Cream butter and sugar together. Mix in cocoa, vanilla and milk. Mix well. Spread frosting over cold cake. Keep in refrigerator.
