• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 4 item
• vanilla - 3 tsp
• evaporated milk - 1/2 c
• cocoa - 1/3 c
• shortening - 1 c
• nuts - 1 c
• self-rising flour
• box confectioners sugar - 1 item
• marshmallows - 1 pkg
• Sift flour and cocoa; add and mix well

How to make mud cake:

Cream shortening and sugar and add eggs. Sift flour and cocoa; add and mix well. Add nuts and vanilla and pour into 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 55 minutes at 300°. When done, remove from oven and cover with marshmallows. Return to oven and bake 10 minu
