Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- dash of salt - 1 item
- oleo - 2 Tbsp
- large marshmallows - 24 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- box chocolate cake mix - 1 item
- blocks chocolate - 2 item
- milk Pet or Carnation - 1 c
- Filling coconut mixture:1 c
- Add coconut and cook 2 minutes longer
How to make mounds candy bar cake:
Bake according to package directions.Filling (coconut mixture):1 c. sugar1 c. milk (Pet or Carnation)1 stick oleo24 large marshmallows1 (14 oz.) pkg. coconut Boil sugar, milk, oleo and marshmallows on medium heat until marshmallows are melted. Add coconut and cook 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat and set aside.Frosting (chocolate mixture):1/4 c. water2 Tbsp. oleo2 blocks chocolate1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla dash of salt Cook water, oleo and chocolate on medium heat until chocolate melts. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and dash of salt. Mix until smooth. If too thick, add water in small amounts. Layer cake with layer of coconut mixture and layer of chocolate mixture.
